We process this data to operate your account, let you create and manage client brands, generate and store your videos, maintain your token balance, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests. Uploaded assets are used to generate the videos you request.
Your uploaded assets and generated videos are not sold to third parties and are not used to train AI models.
MoviquAI relies on cloud hosting, storage, and external processing infrastructure — including GPU-based rendering capacity — to generate and deliver your videos. These providers may process your data solely as needed to provide the service on our behalf, and this processing may take place outside South Africa. We take reasonable steps to work with providers who protect your data appropriately.
We aim to retain uploaded assets and generated videos for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service to you — for example, so you can reuse a saved brand asset or view your video history. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Retention periods may change as the product evolves. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Online token purchasing is not currently active. If MoviquAI introduces paid token packages, payment details (such as card numbers) will be processed directly by our payment provider and will not be stored by MoviquAI. The payment provider may apply its own privacy and cookie practices to payment transactions.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at the email address below. We will action valid requests within a reasonable timeframe. If you are in South Africa, these rights are informed by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA); if you are elsewhere, other data protection laws may also apply to you.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and hashed password storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet or stored on any platform.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use of MoviquAI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
